Genesis Creation and Early Man

by Father Seraphim Rose, edited by Hieromonk Damascene Christensen
This is the long awaited second edition. If you are intimidated by the 1,143 page size of this work, then take it in parts–105 pages of editor’s preface, notes on the second edition and Intro by Philip Johnson before you get to the actual text. Then only 466 pages before you get to the appendixes, the longest of which are written by the editor. While this work is compiled with attention to the arguments of the Creationism/Evolution Debates it builds on a foundation that is too often missed or ignored–the understanding of the Creation and of Genesis expressed in the writings of the early Fathers of the Church. This is a worthy and clarifying addition to that discussion.
